ASSOCIATION OF RUSSIAN AUTOMAKERS, NP (ОАR)
The Association of Russian Automakers, nonprofit partnership has been founded by leading automobile manufacturers in Russia: AvtoVAZ OAO, KAMAZ OAO, GAZ Group OOO (until 2006 – RusPromAuto) and Sollers OAO (before 2008, Severstal-Auto OAO).
The structure of OAR consists of 9 full and 4 associate members.
The enterprises belonging to OAR manufacture more than 70% of motor vehicles and nearly 100% of automobile engines in Russia.
OAR is a member of the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA), which consists of 42 national association of automobile manufacturers in Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia.
In 2008, OAR was elected an OICA Council member.
